Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Facilities Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Classification: Full-time
Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities and also support other company facilities with projects. The Maintenance Technician will also support the housekeeping and upkeep of warehouses and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs general repairs and maintenance tasks including but not limited to repairing drywall, painting, light bulbs, changing air filters, plumbing, repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm, fire extinguishers).
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation).
- Maintains tools and machinery in good condition and uses all tools safely.
- Organizes and maintains tool room and spare parts storage rooms.
- Performs accurate records for preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors performing major maintenance and repairs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to interpret and work from sketches and diagrams.
- Ability to operate a computer and enter purchase orders.
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
- Excellent physical condition and strength.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work with independently with minimal supervision.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
Physical Requirements:
- Walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, and twisting frequently.
- Sitting while performing administrative tasks minimally.
