We are a dynamic hospitality group operating multiple LLCs across restaurant concepts and venues. We seek an experienced Hospitality Group Accounting Specialist to assist with the financial operations of the group, ensure accurate consolidated reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires hands-on expertise in multi-entity accounting and proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Experience with integrated restaurant management software and POS systems is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial governance for multiple LLC entities:

- Oversee month-end close, consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and timely financial reporting for the group.

- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, tax requirements, and regulatory standards.

- Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analyses; provide actionable insights to leadership.

- Accounts payable/receivable and cash management:

- Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury activities; optimize working capital across entities.

- Supervise AP/AR, vendor management, and expense controls.

- General ledger and internal controls:

- Maintain chart of accounts aligned with group structure; implement and monitor strong internal controls.

- Ensure accurate revenue recognition as well as cost of goods sold for restaurants.

- Compliance & audits:

- Support annual external audit, prepare schedules, and address auditor inquiries.

- Manage tax compliance coordination, liaising with tax advisors as needed.

- Systems and process optimization:

- Own the financial systems stack (POS, and restaurant management software landscape); identify, implement, and optimize integrations between QBO and third party platforms.

- Restaurant operations integration:

- Collaborate with operations leadership to analyze P&L by concept, location, and menu mix; recommend profitability improvements.

- Ensure accurate inventory, waste tracking, and cost controls tied to financial reporting.

Team leadership:

- Manage, mentor, a small accounting team.

- Establish priorities, timelines, and performance metrics; foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Experience: 5 years in accounting, multi-entity environment with multiple LLCs, preferably in restaurant/hospitality groups.

- Technical proficiency:

- Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online (advanced user or higher); experience with QuickBooks for multi-entity consolidation is highly preferred.

- Familiarity with integrated restaurant management software and POS systems and their integrations with QBO or other GL.

- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), data analytics, and financial reporting tools.

- Analytical skills: Highly data-driven with the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.

- Internal controls: Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining internal controls, reconciliations, and audit support.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex financial information.

- Organizational skills: Strong multitasking, prioritization, and deadline-driven with attention to detail.

- Leadership: Experience managing a finance team; collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with restaurant revenue management, food and beverage cost controls, and inventory management.

- Exposure to franchise accounting or multi-brand groups.

- Familiarity with POS/restaurant software integrations.

- Experience with audits, tax planning, and compliance in hospitality settings.
