Job Summary
Southern Cross Home Care is seeking dependable caregivers who take their scheduled shifts seriously and genuinely enjoy helping others. We need team members who show up when scheduled, communicate professionally, and understand that our clients depend on us. Applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, be able to pass a background check and drug screening, and have open availability. Hoyer lift experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior according to company procedures.
- Follow care plans meticulously, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and privacy regulations
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments or errands when necessary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.50 per hour
