ASN Nursing Instructor

Southern Crescent Technical College is hiring for full-time ASN Clinical Nursing Instructors at their Jackson (Butts) and Monticello (Jasper) Campuses!!

Salary: $85,000/year

Location (s): Jackson, GA & Monticello, GA (will teach at both locations)

Schedule: Full-time | Flexible hours (classroom and clinical instruction)

**Monday through Thursday schedule most semesters (4, 10 hour days)

**Will have breaks in throughout the year that somewhat align with student schedules

Southern Crescent Technical College is seeking dedicated and passionate Clinical & Didactic Nursing Program Instructors to join their faculty. This position offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of nurses by providing high-quality instruction in both classroom and clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with state, institutional, and accrediting standards
• Evaluate student performance and progress toward curriculum objectives
• Maintain program certification requirements and prepare required documentation and reports for accreditation and state licensing
• Manage classroom and lab equipment, supplies, and budget requests
• Ensure safety and security in all training areas
• Support recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives
• Collaborate with students, faculty, and leadership to promote student success

For ASN RN Program Instructors:

• Active unencumbered RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
• Minimum of three (3) years of recent nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Post-secondary teaching experience
• Familiarity with academic program accreditation standards

Core Competencies:

• Excellent human relations and communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and job-related software programs
• Knowledge of Blackboard Learning Management System and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Understanding of pedagogical theory and effective instructional methods
• Knowledge of postsecondary technical education and academic course standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and staff
• Skilled in the preparation and delivery of engaging classroom and clinical content
