Responsibilities

- Write, edit, and proofread grant proposals, ensuring clarity and adherence to guidelines.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information necessary for proposal development.
- Develop budgets and financial reports that align with grant proposals.
- Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including submission and follow-up.
- Monitor deadlines for grant submissions and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Assist in program development by providing insights based on funding opportunities.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align grant writing efforts with organizational goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in grant proposal writing with a strong portfolio of successful submissions.
- Familiarity with databases related to grant management and tracking (e.g., Raiser Edge).
- Knowledge of contract management principles and practices.
- Experience in budgeting for grants and financial report writing.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in editing documents.
- Ability to develop programs that align with funder priorities and organizational objectives.
