Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center (SCHHC) has a NOCS, Per Diem opening for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The RRT identifies and prioritizes the needs of a patient by using proper assessment, leading to required treatment and care with the ability to educate patients on treatments and care of the cardiopulmonary system.
Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved school of Respiratory Therapy is required.
- Associate of Science Degree is required.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner - RCP - license in Oregon is required.
- National Board of Respiratory Care credentialing is required.
- Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
- One year of experience in Respiratory Therapy and pulmonary medicine in an acute-care setting is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.
Shifts / Schedule:
- Per-Diem, NOCS
Employment with Southern Coos Hospital is contingent upon an acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check.
