Duties
- Lead the daily operations of the concrete plant, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
- Manage production scheduling using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules to coordinate raw materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Oversee quality control procedures to ensure concrete meets industry standards and customer specifications.
- Utilize Excel data analysis and supply chain analytics to monitor key performance indicators, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and engineering to optimize supply chain management and plant operations.
- Lead team development initiatives by providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management within manufacturing or concrete plant environments.
- Strong familiarity with manufacturing management systems such as SAP, ERP platforms, and production management software.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement techniques like lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and lean management strategies.
- Skilled in production planning, scheduling, and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Excellent team leadership abilities with a track record of managing diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of quality control standards specific to concrete production is highly desirable.
- Prior experience with assembly processes and operations management will be advantageous.
