JOB SUMMARY

The Outage Budget Analyst will serve as a key financial and reporting liaison to the site outage budget analyst lead. This role focuses heavily on daily outage reporting accuracy, database maintenance, and outage milestone deliverables. The position supports financial accountability through timely data uploads, populating multiple databases for use in daily cost tracking , and preparation of outage-related documents and presentations for leadership meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, MBA, or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across site and corporate organizations, and respond effectively to changing business needs.
• Proven collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders and organizations.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills; flexible, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
• Experience with Southern Company financial systems (Oracle, Maximo) preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Power BI, Power Automate and/or other Power Apps preferred
