The Hospice Sales Representative is the face of our healthcare organization in a highly competitive market. In order to be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years of proven healthcare sales experience, including cold-calling, CRM management and managing a book of business. Our ideal candidate will be self-driven, compassionate and professional, with excellent sales and organizational skills. A demonstrated ability to sustain relationships with physicians, hospitals and facilities is a must. A passion for end-of-life care and service excellence are also required. This position can easily result in a six-figure income with the generous bonus structure for the right candidate.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

  • Initiate, cultivate and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals and nursing homes.
  • Increase patient referral activity and admissions - agency growth
  • Open new accounts.
  • Manage existing contracts with hospitals and facilities.
  • Support the mission to provide compassionate care needed to terminally ill patients and their families.
  • Develop both short and long term, detailed strategic marketing plans.
  • Execution of strategic marketing plans.
  • Territory management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or health related science (nursing) required.
  • Minimum of three years health care or related industry marketing/sales experience required.
  • Experience working in a highly competitive industry with a proven track record of sales success in a health care field.

LICENSURE:

  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance at limits required by the state and the agency.

SKILLS: Healthcare marketing, networking, organizational and time management skills.

Critical thinking, problem solving, and compassionate interpersonal communication skills.

High level group presentation skills.

Ability to learn Medicare regulations and related reimbursement issues for hospice and long-term care.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
