Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
- Build positive, professional relationships with members of the Lafayette community.
- Assist with all staffing needs to ensure staffing levels are maintained; reviewing applications, hiring the right staff and ensuring we are giving the tools and support to each team member.
- Delegating shift leaders to certain tasks and ensuring we are all leading and coaching in a way that follows Southern Classic Standards.
- Managing and running shifts to achieve time, accuracy, and customer service goals that we have set at Southern Classic. (Goal incentives included)
- Able to complete any tasks asked or required, including truck orders, inventory counts, chicken waste counts, cash drawer handling, deposits…etc.
- Assuring that all cleaning duties are done by team members and maintained each shift to keep our restaurant spotless.
- Being able to handle difficult situations with customers or team members in a professional and respectable way and finding the best solution to solve any issue that might arise.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of controlling food and labor costs on a day-to-day basis and being able to make adjustments as needed.
- Knowledgeable of Food Safety procedures ensuring safe practices with food handling.
- Being able to create a fun work environment for all team members while ensuring each team member has a sense of belonging and is a part of our Southern Classic family.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a high-volume restaurant.
- Proven track record in sales growth, financial management, and staff development.
- Exceptional leadership skills and ability to follow and conduct all training programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate our team everyday.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Passionate about the restaurant industry and committed to fast and friendly service.
