Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Kennel Technician to join our Ranch Family.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional animal care, ensuring the cleanliness of kennel, and assisting with pet handling and care. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with animals, supporting their health and well-being in a self-paced yet busy environment. Prior handling is preferred, along with strong customer service skills and a love for animals.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect kennels and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Feed, water, and monitor animals’ health and behavior throughout their stay.
- Provide pet sitting services as needed, ensuring animals are comfortable and cared for during their stay.
Requirements
- Previous experience in technician work, pet grooming, pet sitting, or kennel operations is highly desirable.
- Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animals/pets.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move animals, feed, or equipment safely.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to work in a self-paced yet busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
