Southern Caregivers of Jonesboro is looking for a personal care assistant to support clients in their everyday lives. The ideal candidate will be able to undertake a variety of office and home tasks and work closely with other team members to support the clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support with personal care and household tasks
- Provide oral hygiene and wound care
- Help with medication administration
- Maintain a clean and orderly office environment
- Meet client’s personal needs, which may include but not be limited to: bathing, dressing, eating, etc.
- Report any changes in clients health or behavior to the care team
- Communicate with clients in a friendly manner
- Document activities in the client’s calendar
- Follow-up with clients to ensure they are happy with the services we are providing
- Complete all required paperwork for client's care and billing
Skills
- Proven experience as personal care assistant or similar preferred but not required.
- Excellent knowledge of hygiene including hand washing, mouth hygiene and grooming.
- Knowledge of emergency response and health care procedures (such as blood draws) is preferred but not required.
