What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Vice President/Commercial Lender - Texas position at Southern Capital Funding Network?
Well-established, ten-year old commercial lending company headquartered in the Southeast is seeking candidates for a Regional Vice President in Texas. Candidates can reside in any of the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, or San Antonio markets. Candidate must reside within Texas.
The primary role of the Regional Vice President will be to pursue new commercial lending clients by networking, cold calling, marketing, or other means of generating interest from potential small to mid-size business owners and commercial real estate clients.
As the senior company representative in the state, the Regional Vice President will develop a relationship with small business owners, commercial realtors, commercial bankers, financial advisors, CPA’s, title companies, etc., in developing opportunities to sell the companies commercial lending products.
In addition, the Regional Vice President will supervise applicable Area Market Managers assigned within the state of Texas..
Candidates should have experience as a Commercial Banker and/or a Business Development Officer with at least 2 years’ experience as a commercial or residential loan officer, commercial bank manager, or experience selling residential or commercial real estate.
Strategic planning is a key part of this role, as the Regional Vice President will have the responsibility to develop a personal pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the regional market assigned, and the commercial lending solutions/services the company can provide to small business owners and commercial real estate investors.
The Regional Vice President will work closely with Executive Management, as well as other RVPs, on business development strategies and opportunities within their markets.
Candidate must be comfortable speaking with clients face-to-face and via phone, as well as attending local and statewide group meetings and luncheons, and calling on local banks and business owners.
Position can be either full or part-time.
This is a commission only position with a first year earning potential of $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year.
