What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician position at Southern California Orthopedic Institute?
Job Summary: General construction knowledge required. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, & painting experience wanted.
Responsible for the clean and working condition of the SCOI building and grounds. Ensures all safety standards are adhered to.
Essential Functions of the Position:
1. Reports to work as scheduled each day.
2. Complies with SCOI policies and procedures and acts in a manner that is indicative of team spirit and cooperation.
3. Models behaviors that support the Mission, Vision and Values of Southern California Orthopedic Institute
4. Ensures that everything is in working order, hours may vary, but normal working hours are Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4 PM.
5. Experience in handiwork, including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywalling, heating and ventilation maintenance.
6. Communication skills are needed to work well with administration, & staff.
7. Makes minor repairs and installations when necessary and reports major issues to Facilities Director.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
