Neurology Nurse Practitioner- Outpatient Practice Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient neurology practice. The NP will work collaboratively with the supervising neurologist to provide high-quality neurological care in a fast-paced private practice setting.
The ideal candidate is clinical strong, organized, personable, and comfortable managing patients with chronic neurological conditions in an outpatiet envioronment.
Responsibilities
-Evaluate and mange follow-up patients with neurological disorders under physician supervision/collaboration.
-Conduct history and physical examination
-Manage common outpatient neurological conditions including headaches, neuropathy, memory disorders, and other chronic neurological diagnoses
-Adjust medications and monitor treatment response
-Provide patient/family education and counseling
-Document encounters accurately and efficiently in EMR
-Recognize cases requiring escalation to supervising neurologist
Qualifications
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license
-Furnishing number /DEA preferred if applicable
-Prior neurology experience preferred but not required
-Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- EMR proficiency preferred
Position Details
-No hospital call/no inpatient rounding
-Supportive physician-led private practice environment
-Competitive salary plus productive incentive available
Pay: $73.00 - $75.00 per hour
