Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality Outdoor kitchen cabinets, and other wood-based fixtures that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your carpentry skills to bring functional and aesthetic visions to life. We are looking for the right person to increase our outdoor kitchen sales.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and woodwork components.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood materials using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and CNC machines.
- Install cabinetry, fixtures, doors, and trim on-site with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Fabricate custom parts through woodworking techniques including framing, rebar installation for structural support, and metal stud framing when necessary.
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as caulking, plastering, roofing repairs, siding installation, and construction painting to ensure seamless finishes.
- Conduct restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, or historic restoration work within the cabinetry or broader construction industry.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during fabrication or installation processes.
- Use schematics and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes accurately in manufacturing or remodeling settings.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading for custom cabinetry projects.
- Proficiency in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing techniques like plastering and stucco application.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) essential for precise woodworking tasks.
- Strong background in construction site experience including fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience related to lighting or outlets in cabinetry.
- Knowledge of CNC machinery operation for fabrication purposes along with general manufacturing skills.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration processes as they relate to cabinetry or structural repairs.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for complex projects involving plumbing or electrical components integrated into cabinetry or fixtures.
- Experience in the restoration industry including mold remediation or historic preservation efforts involving woodwork or masonry elements.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights during roofing or siding projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for quick troubleshooting on-site during remodeling or repair jobs.
