Southern Beverage is looking for an entry level Graphic Designer to join the Sales & Marketing team. The Graphic Designer is responsible for leading projects, understanding marketing and communication goals, and translating them into unique creative solutions for all channels of our brands. This person takes an active, hands-on role working in conjunction with Sales department to implement Web designs, social media sites and graphics appropriate for each of Southern Beverages markets. Reporting to the Sales directors, this important role requires broad knowledge and intermediate skills in both print and web design.
*Duties & Responsibilities for the Graphic Designer

- Create compelling visual communications and design
- Design layouts, comps and branding for all business channels
- Contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
- Execute against several projects in a fast-paced environment
- Support the sales team and overall creative department in producing:
- Monthly sales needs: Newsletters, Sales Sheets, Distributor tools and Presentations
- Brand Design: Identity Material, yearly Product Catalog and Swatch Cards and internal needs
- Support for online: Digital content; E-mail templates, front-end web design
- Tradeshow and Event needs: Graphics, Web Design, Signage, Sales Meetings, Local Events and Sample Sales
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for the Graphic Designer

- 0-1 years, experience in designing for print and web mediums; tradeshow experience is a plus
- Bachelors in graphic design
- Creative problem solving, communication skills, and decision-making skills
- Experience with Social platforms
- Intermediate skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience with project management software (Basecamp)
- Proficiency in iWork (Keynote) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint), Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Must be able to take direction and work well in a team environment, as well as on your own
- Proven success working in a fluid and rapidly changing open team environment
- Hand-crafted skills and a passion for fashion, art, design and photography are preferred
