Store Manager

Batteries Plus is looking for a customer-focused Store Manager to manage their Oro Valley, AZ store location. Store Manager duties include leading retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales goals and positively contributing to the growth and development of their team through training, communication, recognition and support.
Store Manager Qualifications:
Minimum HS diploma/equivalent; Advance degree in business or retail management preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, including commercial (outside) sales.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction as a resourceful, independent problem solver.
Able to effectively manage confrontational situations in a controlled and courteous manner. Speaks clearly and effectively in a variety of settings. Customer service driven.
Strong technical aptitude; a basic understanding of electronics. Must have the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands.
Ability to calculate simple math, percentages and ratios. 
A basic understanding of accounting procedures and financial statements necessary.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events. 
Sales Management -ensure execution of all retail and commercial in store selling programs and promotions.
Personnel Management- demonstrate and require a customer first mentality.
Operations Management- oversee activities of all other Associates to ensure standards are met for merchandising, presentation, inventory management, loss prevention, safety, corporate reporting and facility management.
