As a Collections Specialist, you will speak directly with customers to answer questions, resolve concerns, and help them stay on track with their auto loans. Every conversation is an opportunity to help someone move toward a stronger financial future.
Important Work Requirements (Please Read Before Applying)
- This position is 100% in-office at our headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office five days per week.
- Because SAFCO serves customers in over 30 states, our Account Services team operates on a rotating schedule that includes evening hours. Employees rotate through the following shifts:
• 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Team members also work every other Saturday.
What You Will Be Doing
- Speaking with customers by phone regarding their auto finance accounts
- Answering questions about payments, account status, and loan terms
- Assisting customers with payments and payment arrangements
- Helping customers resolve account concerns and bring accounts current
- Communicating with empathy and professionalism during every interaction
- Documenting account activity accurately in SAFCO systems
- Working collaboratively with a supportive team environment

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Professional phone presence
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to remain positive and solutions-focused in a structured, high-volume call environment
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish or Portuguese) are strongly encouraged to apply.
