Role Description This full-time, on-site role in Houston, TX combines sterile compounding Pharmacy Technician responsibilities with Pharmacist duties on a Thursday–Sunday 10-hour shift schedule. The team member will prepare and compound sterile medications in compliance with USP standards and internal SOPs, including aseptic technique, cleanroom procedures, and detailed documentation. Day-to-day tasks include verifying and processing prescriptions, supporting order entry, labeling, and packaging, and conducting final checks within the scope of licensure. The role also involves managing inventory for sterile compounding supplies and medications, monitoring beyond-use dates, and coordinating with vendors to maintain adequate stock levels. In addition, the team member will collaborate with providers and internal staff, address patient and client inquiries in a professional manner, and contribute to quality assurance, continuous improvement, and regulatory readiness activities.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in prescription processing and verification, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid foundation in pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding workflows and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working collaboratively with Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacists in a cleanroom or compounding environment.
- Skills in inventory control, including ordering, rotating stock, and maintaining appropriate levels of sterile supplies and medications.
- Strong customer service skills for clear, professional communication with patients, providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration and/or Pharmacist licensure in Texas, in good standing, as applicable to the role structure.
- Previous sterile compounding experience (503A or 503B) and familiarity with USP <797> and related standards preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, follow aseptic technique consistently, and work a Thursday–Sunday 10-hour shift schedule.
