Grand County Food Bank Warehouse Coordinator Job Responsibilities
- Client Check-in Process
- Ensure client files contain required information (updated application, picture ID for head of household, income for all adults 18 years and older, proof of residence, Income Verification, Intake Referral Form, Case Notes, Arizona Self-Sufficiency Matrix)
- Ensure client’s sign in on both the USDA/TEFAP signature page and Client Sign In Sheet
- Provide case management to food bank clients assisting them to reach self-sufficiency
- Ensure case notes are in client files that received case management.
- Ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Ensure confidentiality in all communications - both written and oral are maintained.
- Data Reporting CAP60
- Enter all client demographics, income and attendance records weekly
- Enter all services in CAP60 including case management, emergency assistance, diapers, etc.
- Ensure that all client outcomes are entered into CAP60 including employment outcomes, housing outcomes etc.
- Ensure that clients receiving home deliveries are entered into CAP60
- Month End Reporting
- Report Grocery Rescue Poundage's into Meal Connect by the 5th day of the month.
- Utah Food Bank Report - Enter number of individuals served for Grand County Food Banks by the 10th of each month
- Month end folders should contain the following documents for Carbon, Emery, Green River and Grand County food banks (volunteer sign in sheets, temperature logs, USDA/TEFAP inventory, CSFP sign-in sheets, Grocery Rescue receipts, USDA/TEFAP sign in sheets, client sign-in sheets
- Food Safety
- Ensure all food handling and storage practices comply with local health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and compliance
- Volunteer Supervision
- Refer all interested volunteers to Community Engagement Director for interviews
- Ensure all volunteers are signing in at the beginning of their volunteer shift and signing out at the end of their volunteer shift.
- Complete timesheets for Easter Seals and DWS employees. Send completed timesheets to DWS and Easter Seals weekly.
- Warehouse Duties
- Pick up Grocery Rescue from City Market and Maverik on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Assembling carts for food bank clients
- Schedule home deliveries for homebound clients
- Ensure that the food bank is kept clean at all times including:
- Warehouse floors are swept daily and mopped weekly
- All trash from warehouse is taken out daily including cardboard boxes
- Area outside of the food bank is cleaned of all debris, garbage, weeds, etc.
- Bathrooms are cleaned weekly (toilets, sink, mirrors, mop bathroom floors)
- Refrigerator / Freezer Doors are cleaned weekly
- Food Bank windows, sliding glass doors are cleaned weekly
- Food Bank vestibule is vacuumed and kept clean on any garbage or debris
Warehouse Safety
- Ensure safety procedures are followed in the food bank warehouse for all staff and volunteers. Daily stand ups.
- Have daily stand ups to discuss safety rules and safety procedures daily with volunteers
- Certifications
- Food Handlers Certification
This position is a non-benefited, hourly position and will not exceed 20 hours per week.
Must possess a valid driver's license free of alcohol or drug violations.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
