We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and telecommunications. This position is essential for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities through expert system installation and maintenance.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage systems including CCTV, alarm systems, fire alarms, security systems, and access control.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for system design and installation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
Qualificaitons
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with computer and programs to include MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
- Knowledge of cabling techniques for low voltage systems.
- Background in construction is beneficial
- Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety protocols.
