Position Overview
Southeastern Site Development, Inc. is seeking an experienced Flatwork Foreman to lead a concrete flatwork crew on heavy civil construction projects throughout Georgia. The Flatwork Foreman is responsible for directing the crew's daily work, ensuring tasks are performed safely and correctly, and maintaining quality and productivity in the field.
The Foreman will work directly with the Superintendent and oversee the crew performing concrete flatwork including sidewalks, curb and gutter, drainage structures, slabs, and other concrete work associated with roadway and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the flatwork crew during daily field operations
- Assign daily tasks and work alongside the crew as needed
- Read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Understand grades, elevations, slopes, and dimensions
- Direct forming, grading, reinforcement, concrete placement, and finishing
- Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Communicate daily progress and field issues to the Superintendent
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce safe work practices
- Train and provide direction to crew members
- Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman, Flatwork Foreman, or experienced Concrete Finisher
- Experience with concrete flatwork and civil construction
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Ability to lead and manage a crew
- Strong understanding of concrete placement, forming, grading, and finishing
- Ability to understand elevations, grades, slopes, and measurements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
- Heavy civil, roadway, DOT, or municipal construction experience
- Experience with sidewalks, curb and gutter, drainage structures, and slabs

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
