What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at Southeastern Regional Technical High School?
POSITION SUMMARY: Southeastern Regional School District has an immediate opening for licensed school bus drivers.
- 25 hours per week guaranteed during the school year - 2:30-7:30.
- Additional schedules include a variety of driving such as school day field trips, externships, sport trips.
- May also include weekend field trips and summer work, if interested.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- MUST HAVE a Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) Endorsement and School Bus (S) Endorsements.
- Valid School Bus Driver's Certificate.
- Must submit to pre-employment CORI and fingerprint-based criminal background checks.
- Must submit to pre-employment and random substance abuse and alcohol testing.
- Must meet or exceed the annual state-required physical examination.
- Must know the rules, regulations, procedures, and laws as they relate to the operation of a school bus.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with students and staff.
