This role reports directly to the Production Supervisor and plays a critical part in maintaining safety, productivity, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience operating manufacturing equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Machine Technician / Operator
Shift Options & Pay
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, $21–$26/hour (based on experience)
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday–Friday, $21–$26/hour $2 shift premium

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate paper coating and/or rewinder machinery
- Monitor machine performance and inspect product quality
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas
- Collaborate with maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
- Handle and stage paper rolls using computerized systems
- Load and unload materials safely
- Operate forklifts as needed
- Perform routine equipment inspections
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Experience with HMI software (preferred)
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience (preferred)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (hot in summer and comfortable in cooler weather)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. repeatedly without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist regularly
- Mathematically inclined, know how to convert fractions and measurements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Team leadership experience (5 years preferred)
