MACHINE TECHNICIAN/OPERATOR
- 1st Shift: 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday–Friday, $20–$25, based on experience.
- 2nd Shift: 4 PM to 2 AM, Monday–Friday, $20–$25 ( $2/hour shift premium) based on experience.
Summary
As a Machine Technician/Operator, you will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and processes. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your core manufacturing skills and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality components. Your skills operating forklifts will enhance productivity and safety on the shop floor. Additionally, your relevant experience in materials handling and quality control will contribute to maintaining the highest standards in our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate paper coating and/or rewinder machinery
- Inspect machine operations and product quality
- Organize production areas for efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with maintenance for reliability improvements
- Communicate effectively across teams
- Handle paper rolls, including loading/unloading and staging using computerized systems
- Operate forklift
- Conduct equipment inspections
- Maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Growth and pay progression opportunities available.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment which is hot in the summer months and comfortable during cooler weather.
- Must be very teamwork oriented.
- Must be able to lift between 50 to 75 pounds, repetitively without any assistance.
- Must be able to stand, walk, twist and bend regularly to complete job tasks.
- Must be mathematically inclined and know how to convert fractions and measurements.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Leadership: 5 years (Preferred)
- Machine Operation: 5 years (Required)
- HMI Software: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
