Front Office Coordinator, Oral Surgery Practice
We are seeking a customer-service driven Front Office Coordinator with previous dental office experience to join our oral surgery team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in creating a positive, professional experience while keeping daily operations running smoothly.

About the Role
The Front Office Coordinator supports patients both in person and over the phone, manages scheduling and front office workflows, and helps ensure an efficient, patient-focused office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming patient experience
- Greet patients professionally and maintain a clean, organized reception area
- Answer and manage incoming calls with a friendly, confident demeanor
- Register new patients and verify, update, and maintain patient information
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments, including cancellations and no-shows
- Move patients through appointments efficiently and communicate delays as needed
- Enter and maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
- Collect payments at time of service and explain financial and treatment plan options
- Clearly communicate office procedures and policies to patients
- Coordinate referrals to outside medical and dental specialists
- Prepare charts and review schedules for upcoming appointments
- Safeguard patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality
What We’re Looking For
- Previous dental front office experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance
- Comfortable discussing finances and treatment plans with patients
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Flexibility to travel between multiple office locations is required
- Full-time, in-office position (not remote)
