Job Summary
We are immediately seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA)/Medication Administration Technician (MAT) for night shift who will shine and make a difference in people’s lives. The CMA/MAT primary responsibility is to administer medications as prescribed by the residents’ physician.
Responsibilities and Purpose
- Administer, assist and supervise the administration of medications according to the physician order.
- Document medications administered, along with effectiveness and any side effects. Update patient’s chart.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene (Includes shaving, oral care, nail care, hair care, foot care), toileting, eating and mobility
- Observe and report changes in resident’s physical condition and cognitive/emotional status as needed.
Desired Experience and Education:
- Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
- Valid Medication Administration Technician (MAT) certification.
- Experience in a Long-Term Care environment (preferred).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be 18 years of age
Schedule:
- Night shift
- Weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Checotah, OK: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
