Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Service Technician to join our industry-leading service team. This is a uniquely isolated role, as you will primarily support a local university—spending a significant portion of your time working directly across the campus properties and performing major repairs in our shop as needed.
In this position, you will collect funds from designated laundry sites, diagnose and repair a variety of industrial and coin-operated laundry equipment, and deliver exceptional customer service. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Money Collection: Collect coins and paper currency from assigned laundry sites.
- Equipment Service: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial coin washers/dryers, laundromat equipment, and on-premises laundry systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine service to maximize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Campus Support: Provide ongoing equipment service and support across the university campus environment.
- Shop Repairs: Complete large-scale or complex repair work in our shop as needed.
- Customer Support: Maintain strong professional relationships and deliver outstanding service.
- Travel: Be available for occasional overnight travel (typically 3–4 days per month).
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior laundry service experience preferred. Equivalent work in appliance repair, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades will be considered.
- Training: Willingness to complete comprehensive manufacturer training and continuing education.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting/moving up to 75 lbs.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid driver’s license and pass all pre-employment screenings, including MVR.
- Availability: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with occasional after-hours or weekend service needs.
- Team-Oriented: Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
