Position Overview and Commitment
We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is essential to the daily flow of our clinic and requires someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. This is a full-time, long-term position. We are seeking a candidate who is looking to grow with our practice and become a consistent, reliable member of our team. This role is not intended as a temporary position or a short-term opportunity for those seeking brief clinical experience. We are looking for someone who is committed to building a career within our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Prepare and room patients, including vital signs and documentation
- Support allergy services (including injections and documentation, if applicable)
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the EMR
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared
- Coordinate with front desk and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
- Provide excellent, compassionate patient care at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
