Duties
- Perform calibration, and routine maintenance of biomedical equipment according to specifications and established procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair diverse medical devices, utilizing hand tools, computer hardware diagnostics, and detailed schematics to identify issues efficiently.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document service activities, track repairs, and schedule upcoming maintenance tasks.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and component replacements, ensuring minimal downtime for healthcare facilities.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users on proper device operation and basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of service reports, calibration logs, and equipment history for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience involving biomedical or medical equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Familiarity with OEM guidelines, and PM procedures is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, computer hardware diagnostics, and electronic troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of CMMS systems for work order management and documentation is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
