JOB TITLE: Coordinator of Certificate Services
DEPARTMENT: Academic Support
SUPERVISOR: Director of Church Partnerships
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
• Oversee the office activities to accomplish the annual goals of the Certificate Services Office.
• Serve as the primary response person (email, phone calls) for all communication related to certificates at SEBTS.
• Develop relationships with key contributors and students for the promotion of certificate programs.
• Oversee the production of new certificate programs, courses, and curriculum.
• Work with the Equip Network on partnership opportunities and strategies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PROMOTE
• Promote the certificate programs at SEBTS.
• Work with the Director of Church Partnerships to develop and implement the annual certificate services marketing plan.
• Meet with church leaders to promote and facilitate GO Certificate cohorts in local church.
• Meet with church leaders and occasionally represent SEBTS at conferences and other external events.
ACQUIRE
• Move prospective students to enrolled students.
• Serve as primary contact for certificate services for prospective and current students.
• Provide academic advising for prospective students when needed.
MAINTAIN
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all tasks.
• Prepare monthly reports on applicants, current students, and program development.
• Oversee the process of all certificate inquiries, admissions, cohort progress and ongoing support.
• Verify and send out completed certificates each month.
CONNECT
• In conjunction with the Equip Network, strategize and develop relationships/partnerships with various entities and individuals.
DEVELOP
• In conjunction with the Director of Church Partnerships, strategize and develop certificate services’ needs and goals.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the development of the institution's certificate services publications and other related promotional materials designed to enhance and support the certificate services efforts.
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with the various offices (Information Technologies, Registrar, and Accounting Services) in developing effective management information systems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise the Content Creation Specialist to oversee the production of new GO Certificate content.

• Quarterly analysis of GO Certificate sales.
• Pay professors advances and residual payments for their contributions to GO Certificate courses.

• Highly extensive contact with the public within and outside the institution.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Various material lifting (up to 50lbs)
• Various amounts of walking
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Travel requires unusual work hours due to conference/booth staffing needs and constituents’ schedule.
