About the Role
Dedicated final-mile delivery for The Home Depot. You'll drive a flatbed truck or tractor-flatbed on local routes of about 100–150 miles a day, delivering building materials to homes and businesses with a driver helper. Unloading is done with a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift).
Responsibilities
- Load, secure and deliver customer orders safely and on time
- Unload at customer sites using a Moffett forklift
- Update order status on a handheld device
- Communicate with customers, store staff and dispatch
- Work overtime when needed to complete routes
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Clean driving record. No misdemeanors or felonies.
- 2 years of CDL flatbed experience
- Moffett/forklift experience
- Experience driving in winter weather (snow and ice)
- Age 23
- Must pass a DOT physical, background check and drug screen
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs
