Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Room Attendant to assist with managing inventory and facilitate efficient material management within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of job set up, supporting, and maintaining records. The Parts Room Attendant will play a key role in organizing materials, ensuring tools are operating properly and helping to keep track of tools to uphold operational excellence.
Duties
- Assist in establishing and maintaining inventory
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming material, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse or parts room.
- Insuring job boxes and trucks are stocked with equipment and tools before projects start
- Ability to load materials on trailers and secure properly for transport. To be able to drive safely while pulling trailers and make material deliveries
- Signing out tools to employees and receiving them back, checking for damage or wear.
- Support demand planning by forecasting parts needs based on production schedules or service requirements.
- Performing minor repairs, such as replacing handles, and ensuring tools are properly serviced.
- Collaborate with field crews to assist with determining materials are properly organized for upcoming projects .
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the parts room or warehouse environment.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts when necessary for moving heavy or bulky items.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse coordination and organization.
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse operations including forklift operation preferred.
- Familiar with identifying carbon / stainless pipe and fittings
- Ability to crimp hydraulic hose and fittings
- Customer service skills to effectively support internal teams or external clients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid and clean driving record
- Able to pass a hair follicle drug test
Pay: $15.00 - $25.53 per hour
