Role Description
This full-time, on-site VDC-BIM Technician role is based in Tampa, FL. As a VDC-BIM Technician, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) for Mechanical systems. Tasks include creating, reviewing, and revising construction drawings, collaborating with project teams to ensure adherence to specifications and schedules, and ensuring efficient design solutions for building services. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to meet project requirements while optimizing construction workflows.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Mechanical Piping design and detailing is a required.
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and familiarity with associated software solutions such as Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/Forma).
- Strong knowledge of Creating and Reviewing Construction Drawings.
- Familiarity with Structural Engineering concepts as they pertain to MEP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with using or developing Revit add-ins is a plus.
