Diesel Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Location: Fairfield, IA 52556
Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot engine, transmission, and electrical issues.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM): Conduct thorough inspections and routine servicing to ensure fleet safety and longevity.
- Mechanical Repairs: Perform "all aspects" of diesel repair, including brake systems, suspension, hydraulics, and engine overhauls.
- Documentation: Maintain clear records of repairs and parts used.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Technician.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and basic diagnostic computers.
- Certifications: ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications are a plus but not required.
- Drive: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop.
