Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident
Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO
Department: 5H Surgical
Status: Full-Time - 36 hours/week
Shift: 12 Hour (Days/Nights - TBD)

One thing about me specifically as a new grad is I cared about how's I was going to be trained and orientated as a new grad nurse and something about Mercy is that they train their nurses well. Throughout this whole process of orientating, I felt so supported and seen, whether it was the other preceptors, the managers, everyone has just cared so much about educating and teaching their new nurses and that's one of the reasons why I think you should be a nurse here at Mercy. - Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
- No Contract Required!
- ASN to BSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your BSN (up to $16,000).
- BSN to MSN Bridging Program to assist in obtaining your MSN (up to $16,000).
- Up to $7,500 Sign-On Bonus
- No Contract Required
- RN Loan Forgiveness Program to aide in paying off your RN student loan debt.
- Up to $370 per month directly towards loan payments ($20,000 cap).
- Must start with Mercy within 12-months of graduation.
- Experience: 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
- Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required.
- Other: Physical requirements/demands:
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
