Duties
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences for students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions focused on core subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies to improve academic performance.
- Manage classroom environments with strong classroom management techniques to foster a positive, respectful, and productive atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs or those requiring additional support in early childhood or preschool settings.
- Collaborate with coaches, parents, and school personnel to monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
- Incorporate child development principles and childcare best practices to ensure a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth for young children.
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across diverse age groups, including early childhood education or preschool environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and learners from various backgrounds.
- Experience managing classrooms or group settings with excellent classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of adult education principles is a plus for mentoring fellow tutors or coaching staff.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and team members clearly and positively.
