What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Misdemeanor Probation Officer position at Southeast Corrections?
We are currently accepting applications for a Full Time Probation Officer in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This position will be located in the Lawrenceville, GA office, however, duties will include some work Monroe, and Snellville.
Qualifications for the ideal candidate include:
- Minimum 2 years college degree from accredited college or university; preferably four years with degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
- One year experience, knowledge of the criminal justice system & court procedures, however, recent graduates in this field would be accepted
- Administrative duties will also be required of this position
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as, with a team
- Must be flexible and be able to work flexible work schedule
- Clear - Criminal Background Check
- Drug Screen will be required
- Must have reliable transportation
