Dock Team Lead - Target

Description

Job Purpose

Oversee safety, quality, and production and delivery metrics in a production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

1. Works in coordination with supervisor to manage the daily operations of assigned employee(s), assuring overall quality, productivity, and policy / contract adherence. 
2. Supports employee(s) by answering questions and assisting where needed. 
3. Achieves required safety, quality, delivery, and performance levels.
4. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Performs miscellaneous assignments as required and/or requested.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
7. Flexibility to provide coverage of various shifts as needed

Requirements

Required Skills/Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent
2. Able to work in teams and communicate clearly with managers and other team members.
3. Acknowledges that learning and growth are keys to personal and professional success and is willing and able to share with others. 
4. Attentive to detail, organized and passionate!
5. Takes pride in doing good work, have a positive attitude, and promotes SECO’s fundamentals
6. Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Experience

1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3. Occasionally required to lift/push/carry more than 50 pounds 
4. Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
