What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Ministry Leader Blankenbaker Campus position at Southeast Christian Church?
The Kids Ministry Leader is responsible for casting a very clear and holistic vision for the Kids Ministry Team (Birth-5th Grade) to recruit, equip and shepherd volunteers to lead the Ministry at the Blankenbaker Campus.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee ministry from Birth – 5th Grade; Kids ministry staff, volunteers, kids and their families.
- Lead and develop other leaders.
- Implement central resources so that more time is spent ministering to volunteers and families.
- Honor and encourage volunteers.
- Lead the Kids Team to empower volunteers to own the ministry vision and programmatic elements.
- Thorough and Gospel-centric understanding of Scripture.
- Ability to be flexible and manage a team with different strengths and weaknesses.
- Ability to thrive in an active environment which includes multiple, large programming elements and large events throughout the year.
- Manage and resolve conflict.

Our Requirements
- Ministry degree required (Children’s Ministry emphasis preferred).
- 7 years full-time general Children's ministry experience.
- 5 years of ministry leadership experience in a 2000 member church; background or understanding of Restoration Church movement preferred.
- Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
