Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Painter, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through your craftsmanship and artistic vision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colors and textures.
• Follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate application.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals on remodeling projects.
• Perform caulking and drywall repairs as needed prior to painting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.

Skills

• Proficiency in various painting techniques and tools.
• Experience with drywall installation and repair.
• Knowledge of caulking methods for sealing gaps.
• Familiarity with concrete finishing processes is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Experience working on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
