Always the right career direction.Job Description SummaryThe Provider Recruiter (PR) will support the provider staffing needs of Southeast Health (SEH), the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM), and affiliated private practices by assisting with the logistics of the recruitment process to result in the successful placement of physicians and advanced practice providers. The PR will assist with the development and implementation of recruitment and staffing strategies with a special emphasis on sourcing well-qualified and diverse pools of candidates, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.Job DescriptionEssential Functions Understand staffing needs, develop and implement proactive, innovative sourcing strategies for vacancies.Strategically source active and passive talent, and assess and select qualified candidates for open searches.Actively seek and utilize partnerships with residency and fellowship programs to build continual proactive candidate pipelines.Attend and represent SEH at off-site recruiting events and conferences when neededDevelop and maintain working knowledge of the health system and regional communities in order to assist with candidate inquiries.Meet with practice director and other clinical team members to develop job descriptions for open positions.Screen CV’s and potential candidates for minimum hiring qualifications and attributes desirable to the position.Assist with maintaining applicant tracking system (ATS) and customer relationship management system (CRM) for the purpose of capturing and tracking candidates, leads, and potential leads.Conduct preliminary candidate interviews using variable phone and video conferencing tools when indicatedDiscuss job details with potential candidates including but not limited to work hours/call requirements, practice description, procedures/skills needed, description of patient population, and compensation/benefits package.Prepare written, concise, informative summary of telephone interview to share with the Director of Physician Recruitment (DPR) and/or specialty leadership. Assist with the logistics of the site visit interview, which may include but is not limited to, providing transportation to/from hospital or hotel, escorting providers to interview meetings, providing a facility tour for candidate, and participating in interview dinners when needed.Serve as a liaison alongside DPR with external third-party recruitment firms when neededParticipate in the processes and activities related to efficiently transitioning providers through onboarding and orientation. Attend Provider Recruitment, Southeast Health Medical Group (SHMG), and Medical Staff Services committee or departmental meetings as needed.Maintain collaborative relationships with department managers/directors and other appropriate personnel in order to provide best-in-class organizational talent to support SEH’s strategic vision.Continually develop and improves upon processes, procedures, policies, and techniques to recruit ideal providers. Maintain up to date knowledge and compliance with federal and state fair employment laws and guidelines.
