What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN: Pediatric Phone Triage position at Southdale Pediatric Associates?
Southdale Pediatrics is an independent group of board-certified pediatricians and allergists, affiliated with the major pediatric hospitals in the Twin Cities Metro area. We seek full-time RNs for the Triage teams at all three of our clinics located in Edina, Burnsville and Eden Prairie. Available hours include day shift, evenings until 8:30pm, and Saturday morning monthly rotation from 8am to noon.
Pediatric Phone Triage Position Responsibilities:
- telephone triage advice using established protocols and procedures
- scheduling same-day appointments for ill children
- proposing medications, lab orders, and immunizations
- communication with physicians
- care coordination
Pediatric Phone Triage Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license in the state of MN
- ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- experience with electronic medical records
- experience in pediatric and adolescent medicine is welcome
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
