What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial Technician position at Southcreek Management Company?
The Part-Time Custodial Technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the common areas, amenities, and public spaces in a high-rise apartment building, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents. Additionally, this position will also be responsible for cleaning apartments on turns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain common areas, amenities, and public spaces, including hallways, stairwells, lobbies, elevators, and laundry rooms.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces, ensuring they are free from debris and stains.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and restock supplies as needed.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling.
- Clean vacant apartments on turns, ensuring they are move-in ready for new residents.
- Report maintenance and repair needs to the appropriate staff member.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal and salt application as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, responding to requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist the lead maintenance tech.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of experience in custodial or housekeeping work.
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working in a high-rise apartment building.
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting techniques and materials.
Job Type: Part-time
