- Shift: Day shift 8:00am-4:30pm
- Travel: This is a home care position. Will require driving
We are searching for a Massage Therapist to, under direction of Director, Supportive Care Services, provide massage therapy to patients in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Plan of Care. Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff members and family members on these programs.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Must be graduate of massage training school that is AMTA approved
- Currently registered in accordance with local and state laws as a Massage Therapist in both MA and RI
- Two years recent (within the past five years) experience in acute, long-term care or home care/hospice, with at least one year in hospice or homecare preferred
- Must be able to work independently and have demonstrated patient teaching skills
- Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft programs required
Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID 19 and seasonal Influenza. Must provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
