CARE STAFF JOB DESCRIPTION
As a CARE Staff, you provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home.
These services generally fall under three categories:
· Companionship, Home Maker, Personal CARE and/OR Respite CARE.
COMPANIONSHIP
Companionship services are those that stimulate, encourage, and assist an individual.
Primary responsibilities of companionship services include the following:
· Providing companionship and conversation, providing an outing with the patient, accompanying patients to appointments, medication reminders, reporting change in patient’s health, living conditions, or any other needs and/OR providing respite for a family caregiver.
Home Maker
· Performing light housekeeping tasks, running errands, and/OR preparing healthy snack or light meal.
Personal CARE
Personal CARE services are personal in nature and often include assistance with activities of daily living. Primary responsibilities of Personal CARE include assisting with bathing, assisting with grooming, and/OR toileting and continent issues.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
