Responsibilities
- Provide individual 1:1 support to an assigned student.
- Assist the student with participation in the educational program and school activities.
- Implement supports and accommodations as directed by appropriate instructional and special education staff.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to support the student's educational, behavioral, and social needs.
- Maintain student confidentiality and follow all District procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must meet NYSED requirements to serve as a Supplemental 1:1 Aide.
- High School Diploma
- Fingerprint Clearance through NYS Department of Education
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and support staff.
- Ability to follow student-specific plans, accommodations, and staff direction.
Job Qualifications
Compensation: In accordance with the applicable contractual or Board-approved rate.
