Leave Replacement ELA & Reading Teacher

The Southampton Union Free School District is seeking a Leave Replacement English Language Arts (ELA)/Reading Teacher at the intermediate school level.

The successful candidate will provide instruction in grade 6 English courses and small group reading classes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Plan and deliver engaging ELA and reading instruction aligned with New York State standards
• Support student development in reading, writing, and analysis
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities

Qualifications:

• NYS Certifications: Childhood Education, Grades 1-6 and Literacy, Birth - 6
• Fingerprint Clearance
