APPROPRIATE CREDENTIAL OR PERMIT ISSUED BY THE CTC: 30-DAY TEACHING PERMIT, OR MULTIPLE SUBJECT, OR SINGLE SUBJECT TEACHING CREDENTIAL. Substitute teachers will be paid at the rate of $ 195 per day K-8 certificated teachers. If employed continuously for a period exceeding 10 consecutive days for the same teacher, the rate increases to $ 215 per day K-8 beginning on the 11th consecutive day. Partial days will be prorated based on a 7 hour day.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must have a valid California Teaching Credential or current 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit Ability to work effectively in a multi-ethnic setting. Applicants must meet all Basic Skill Requirements Copy of Transcript (Sealed official transcripts showing BA due upon employment Credential Copy (Multiple Subject, Single Subject credentials, Special ED. or 30-Sub Sub Teaching Permit) English Learner Authorization (if you have one) Letters of recommendation (Two letters from colleagues and district employees) Resume
