Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor inmates to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations with fairness and consistency.
- Conduct routine inspections of cells and common areas.
- Escort inmates to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Assist in the implementation of rehabilitative programs for inmates.
- Document and report any incidents or unusual behavior.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of inmates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a correctional facility is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
